Gabi's Many Hairstyles

Looking at the camera recently I noticed how many different ways I fix Gabi's hair.  Sometimes it is something really quick as we run out the door to school.  Other days we have more time and the hairdoos are more elaborate.  So, here is a quick glance into Gabi's hair.   There are more that I don't have pictures of.  Guess I will have to take more pictures.  :)

We have been doing a lot of braids recently.  I was trying to give her hair a break from all the pony tail holders.

Auntie Heather fixed Gabi's hair while we were in Florida.  Heather used to fix my hair a lot growing up.

French braid across her head like a headband.

Just another view of the same thing.

I braided the big section into three small braids and then braided them all together to make one fat braid.

A lot of the time the two sides are pulled up with bows.
I love this picture!

The curly look.  Gabi's hair curls really easy and can stay like that for days.  This was before a dance recital.

I was excited when her hair got long enough for a ponytail.

Pigtails for another dance recital.

French braid hooked together at bottom.

Simple day of hair down with a headband.

More with the sides up.

Just one side up.

Little mouse ears.

A back view of the 'ears'.

Zig-zag part french braid.

After she slept with her hair in a french braid.

To the side with a single braid coming out.

This was taken today.  More 'kinky' hair.  Growing up when I was a witch for Halloween this is how my mom would fix my hair.  Cute!

Hair in the french braid across the head, but then hooked in a side ponytail.

Ta-da!  Our tour of Gabi's hairstyles is complete.  :)

Most of the time that I ask Gabi to hold still for a picture she does some dance move.  She loves to dance!!

Valentine's / Birthday Pictures

February is a busy month for our family.  Kai's birthday is on the 6th, and Koa's is on Valentine's Day.  I took the kids to Sears to get some pictures taken.  We have been going to Kiddie Kandids every couple months since Gabi was a baby.  After they went out of business so quickly, we had to find another place to go.  So, this time I tried Sears.  They turned out pretty good.  I'm posting all of them, because some of them just cracked me up!  You know how it is....taking three kids under the age of 5 to get pictures right before lunch.  :)  Enjoy!

See Kai's "smile"?  This is his snitty, I'm not going to smile good because you want me to.  I still bought the picture.  :)

We couldn't resist doing a Valentine's Candy picture since Koa is a Valentine's baby.

Koa WOULD NOT sit on the "1" like they wanted him to.  This was the best that we could get.

This series cracks me up.  One of the kids looks good in each one.  This one Gabi and Koa don't look bad, but Kai was not having it!

18
Kai looks good, but Gabi was leaning against the backdrop and Koa looks surprised.

19
Gabi looks worried, Koa's tongue is crazy, and Kai looks decent.  Can't win!

If there is a specific picture that you want a copy of, please let me know the number next to the picture and what size you want.  These pictures should be easier to see than the thumbnail ones sent out earlier.  It can be anything from a wallet size on up.  Since we got the CD from Sears, we can get prints done anywhere.

New Pictures Coming Soon!

This week my goal is to get the last few months posted.  We have both the boy's birthdays, their new rooms, etc.  Keep posted for more!

Kai's View Around the House

Here are the pictures I found on Kai's camera since January.  Kai gets in moods where he loves to take pictures.  Just today he filled up the memory card three times and brought it to me to download on the computer.  He gets some really good shots....for a now three year old!

Kai takes a lot of pictures of us around the house.  Most the time it doesn't have our whole face in it.  :)

Koa trying to get kai's camera from him.

Nathan and I joke that the first memories the kids are going to have of their parents is us with our laptops on our lap doing work.  What we do for our kids!

Gabi dancing for Kai.  Wow, her hair is getting long!

Kai's favorite toy...the pirate ship (one of them.)

Proof of how the Wii remote got bite marks.  :)

Gabi and Kai love to talk to Koa after he wakes up.  I guess Kai got proof of Gabi talking with Koa.

The sun kindof hides it, but these are the birthday balloons in the kitchen.  They have already lasted  3 weeks.

I think this picture is great.  This is taken from Kai's bed.  Not sure when he took this.

Gabi and Kai taking pictures of each other in the basement.

Kai capturing Gabi's strange outfits.  Here she is wearing brown shorts with funky striped tights.  She loves it!

Gabi's View around the House

Here are a few pictures that I found on Gabi's camera since January.  It is kindof funny what they take pictures of.

Gabi LOVES her baby brother.  A lot of the pictures on her camera are of him.

This is Gabi's string from her balloon.

Gabi's favorite toy, her doll house.

Gabi talked me into getting her this trash can at Lowe's last weekend.  It does match her Hawaiian room.  :)

The bear that Daddy gave her for Valentine's Day.

Her Sleeping Beauty horse.

Koa in his highchair.

Kai and Gabi have camera shots of each other.  They love their cameras!
